What is PEV:
PEV is an extension of PG, which implements enterprise level performance and operation management capabilities on the basis of standard open source PG. Users can monitor load metrics from the OS to the DB through PEV, and can trace the performance status of the system at various granularity from history to present.
What is PEV Client:
PEV client is a visual GUI tool based on PEV extension, which allows for more intuitive insights into the performance of PG databases and related issues.
Complete monitoring system
PEV opens 16 tables and 6 views for real-time monitoring, analysis and summary of load, process, session, Sql, Sql execution plan, Sql statistics, database object statistics, waiting events, transactions, locks and other information from the operating system (mainly load metrics) to the database.
